For a typical 2-car garage: 2 days of work. Day 1 is grinding + epoxy + flake broadcast. Day 2 is the polyaspartic top coat. You walk on it day 3 and park your car day 7. Total disruption: about a week, but most of that is just curing — we're only on-site for the 2 install days.
Yes — and this is exactly why we use polyaspartic for the top coat. It was specifically engineered for high-humidity environments and cures in 4–8 hours (vs. 24–72 hours for standard epoxy). FL humidity ruins regular epoxy because the moisture wins the race against curing. Polyaspartic doesn't give it the chance.
For a typical 2-car garage (450 sqft) with our most popular system (Decorative Flake + polyaspartic): expect $1,800–$3,150, with most projects landing around $2,475. Final price depends on slab condition, color complexity, and edge work — use our instant calculator to see your exact range.
Decorative flake floors are actually slip-resistant by design. The flake texture creates micro-grip across the entire surface — water, oil, and spills don't make it dangerous. Kids and pets walk on it safely. For pool decks, we use an even more aggressive non-slip top coat.
This is the easiest floor you'll ever own. Hose it off for major cleans. Mop monthly with a mild pH-neutral cleaner (no harsh chemicals needed). No waxing, no resealing, no annual maintenance contracts. The polyaspartic top coat does all the work.
Yes — our 5-year workmanship warranty is fully transferable to new homeowners. Great selling point if you list your home. Just send us the new owner's info and we update our records.
Epoxy is the strong, durable base coat — invented in the 1930s, perfected for cold dry climates. Polyaspartic is a newer (1990s+) UV-stable top coat that cures fast, resists yellowing in sun, and handles humidity beautifully. We use both: epoxy for strength, polyaspartic for FL conditions. Best of both worlds.
Absolutely. Pool decks and patios are huge in SWFL — we use a non-slip polyaspartic finish specifically for those areas. Stays cool underfoot (heat-reflective), withstands chlorine and salt water, doesn't fade in the FL sun.
